【摘要】:Byuseofthistestmethodthecolorandconditionofatestspecimenofoilmaybeestimatedduringafieldinspection,thusassistinginthedecisionastowhetherornotthesampleshouldbesenttoacentrallaboratoryforfullevaluation.Cloudiness,particlesofinsulation,productsofmetalcorrosion,orotherundesirablesuspendedmaterials,aswellasanyunusualchangeincolormaybedetected.Forprecisedeterminationofcolorinthelaboratory,TestMethodshouldbeused.1.1Thistestmethodforvisualexaminationisapplicabletomineraloilsofpetroleumoriginthathavebeenusedintransformers,oilcircuitbreakers,orotherelectricalapparatusasinsulatingorcoolingmedia,orboth.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
