【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddefinestherequirementsforbufferswith105mm,110mmand150mmstrokeforvehiclesorunitswhichusebuffersandscrewcouplingatthecouplinginterfacewithotherinteroperablerollingstock.Itcoversthefunctionality,interfacesandtestingprocedures,includingpassfailcriteria,forbuffers.NOTETypically,bufferswithastrokeof105mmareusedonfreightwagonsandlocomotives,bufferswithastrokeof110mmareusedoncoachesandlocomotivesandbufferswithastrokeof150mmareusedonfreightwagons.Itdefinesthedifferentcategoriesofbuffers,thespaceenvelope,staticanddynamiccharacteristicsandenergyabsorption.Itincludesacalculationmethodtodeterminetheminimumsizeofthebufferheadtoavoidoverridebetweenbuffers.Itdefinesthestaticanddynamiccharacteristicsoftheelasticsystems.Italsodefinestherequirementsforbufferswithintegratedcrashelements(crashworthybuffers)fortankwagonsonlyaccordingtoRID.TherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardalsoapplytolocomotivesandpassengercoacheswhichhavetomeetthecrashworthinessrequirementsofEN15227forbuffersinnormalserviceonly.ThepropertiesfortheenergyabsorbingfunctionaredefinedinEN15227andtherequirementsspecifiedinClause7fortankwagonsaccordingtoRIDarenotapplicabletolocomotivesandpassengercoaches.DiagonalbuffersareexcludedfromthisEuropeanStandard.Forvehicleswhichhavetocomplywithcrashworthinessrequirements(locomotives,cabcarsorpassengercoachesaccordingtoEN15227,tankwagonsaccordingtoRID),typicallycrashworthybuffers(bufferswithadeformablehousingand/ortheneedforanopeningintheirmountingflange)orbufferswhichformpartofacombinedsystemconsistingofaspecialbuffer(e.g.middleflangebuffer)andadeformationelementareused.Forthesetypesofbuffers,interoperabilityispossible,butinterchangeabilitywithfreightwagonbuffersisnotrequired,andthereforetherequirementsof5.2(Fixingonvehicleandinterchangeability),5.3(Bufferdimensions)donotapply,thoseof5.4(mechanicalcharacteristicsofbuffers)and5.6(marking)applywithrestrictions.
